Important information for Businesses
Businesses hosting volunteers on Talent Trade Volunteer Exchange should be able to provide a welcoming friendly environment for volunteers as well as offering accommodation, food, availability of light refreshments throughout the working day and airport transfers.
Hosts should also make sure that they can offer monetary payment on top that equals at least the minimum wage of their country (this maybe offset by the food and accommodation on offer depending on the labour laws in your country.)
In exchange Hosts can expect to receive a first class service from experienced, skilled and talented volunteers from all over the world who are interested in helping out for Summer & Winter Seasons in Hotels and Resorts abroad.
The help offered is generally no more than 8 hours per day ( 4 morning/ 4 evening), 5 and half days a week with 1 and half 'Rest Days'.
Remember that the volunteers have traveled to come and have a different experience to what they are used to in their own country.
Many are students on a year out, some are professionals on a career break, some are wanting to gain more experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry, or just for the experience of doing what they love in a very different environment and cultural heritage.
It is important to ensure that you treat your volunteer as you would a fully paid member of staff, giving them the same consideration and remember Health & Safety, Insurance and the like are all the responsibility of the Host.
There is no limit to the amount of volunteers you can request to come help you out over the holiday seasons, that is entirely up to the host.
If you would like advice on what you should provide, how many volunteers you need, whether you need specific volunteers (groups, bands, couples, female, male) do email us and we will do our best to source the volunteers you need.
We also invite you to your Paid Positions available that include Salary and Accommodation within it's contract !
We have members looking for contracted seasonal work overseas, as well as those looking to travel and volunteer. Sign up to our Forum to view Volunteer profiles, Job Hunters, Host profiles, the forum boards, topics, member galleries, jobs & more HERE
*If Travel Trade find suitable volunteers for you who are sourced outside the website a search and find fee will be payable Please email for more information
